Jasper Award 2008

In October 2008, the Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association (JSPRAA) awarded a Gold Jasper Award to Custom Video Productions of Red Bank, NJ, for their work on the Bartlett Tree Experts centennial video, "The Bartlett Way: 100 Years of Scientific Tree Care." The project placed first in the Short Documentary/Promo (10 to 30 Minutes) category. 4O1 Creative of Allentown, PA handled the editing duties, while Kernie Cam Productions designed the motion graphics package used in the video.

In existence since 1965, the Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association has grown into the area’s largest communications association, consisting of almost 200 members from the advertising, graphic design, marketing, and public relations professions. Its goals are: to establish and improve the standards and quality of communication activities, to encourage and promote fraternal relationships, to foster the exchange of ideas for the benefit of its members, to increase the visibility and awareness of the public relations and advertising professions, and to encourage education in the communications fields through a scholarship, internship, and student membership program.

JSPRAA, a non-profit association, is most known for its compelling professional development luncheons, its coveted, statewide annual Awards Program, and the Annual Memorial Scholarship Award.

Impact Award 2008

In April 2008, the Metallix Refining marketing video picked up another first place honor, earning a Gold Impact Award from the New Jersey Business Marketing Association.

The award was presented to Custom Video Productions of Red Bank, NJ, who produced the video in association with 4O1 Creative, Ltd. of Allentown, PA. Kernie Cam Productions designed the motions graphics package used in the presentation.

The Business Marketing Association boasts the oldest, largest and most prestigious business-to-business communications award programs, including the Pro-Comm Awards, W.A. Marsteller Award, G.D. Crain, Jr. Award and Agency of the Year Award. Several local BMA chapters sponsor advertising award competitions throughout the year. (Source:

Addy Award 2008

February 29, 2008  |  Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club

In February 2008, the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club presented a Gold Addy Award to 4O1 Creative of Allentown, PA and Custom Video Productions of Red Bank, NJ for their work on the Metallix Refining marketing video.

Kernie Cam Productions supplied the motion graphics package to 4O1 Creative, who edited the project using footage shot by Custom Video Productions.

The Addy Awards are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. The Addy Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association conducts the Addy Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. Communication Design Award For Excellence in Interactive Design

March 2004  |  Kutztown University Communication Design Department

The Communication Design Department of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania awarded the 2004 Award for Excellence in Interactive Design to senior Andrew Kern for his work on the Clue title sequence. The project was created as an independent study in the spring 2004 semester and was supervised by associate professor Todd McFeely. The title sequence was featured in the Senior Exhibition at Kutztown University's Sharadin Art Gallery.
