Digital Illustration

This artwork served as a desktop wallpaper that I gave to my girlfriend Whitney for Christmas 2007. The illustration began as a hand-drawn sketch that was then scanned and vectorized in Adobe Illustrator. Shadows and highlights were added with the airbrush tool in Adobe Photoshop, keeping the full moon as the image's light source. Trapcode's Particular plug-in for Adobe After Effects was used to create the falling snow and the sparkles in the sleigh trail.
