New website for Northern Lehigh Middle School launched
Northern Lehigh Middle School, located in Slatington, Pennsylvania, has received a website upgrade courtesy of Kernie Cam Productions. The site has been redesigned with one goal in mind: to provide a concise and organized web-browsing experience for students, faculty, parents, and community members. Using HTML, CSS, and PHP code, Kernie Cam Productions has created a site that can be easily navigated as well as aesthetically pleasing.
The site provides students and their parents the ability to check classroom assignments, obtain information on upcoming sporting events, or view the latest edition of the school newsletter in PDF format. It also offers links to helpful websites for both students and educators and describes the various extracurricular activities that students may join. Kernie Cam Productions' ultimate hope is that the school's reputation in both the community and the greater Lehigh Valley will be enhanced with the launch of the new site.
The redesign would not have been possible without the assistance of Mrs. Donna Marushak, a teacher at the middle school and advisor of the web page committee, and Michael Showak, a student at Northern Lehigh High School. Both Mrs. Marushak and Mr. Showak worked hard over the summer to reorganize and compress the content of the previous site, as well as providing valuable input towards the overall product. They will also help to maintain the site throughout the upcoming school year.
